The Coventry Cathedral ruins are a beautiful 20th Century building that was bombed during the Second World War. Next to it is the more modern Cathedral, which holds services, events and guided tours. Why not apprecuate the ‘casket of jewels’ by booking a tour in advance ?

This is the home to the world’s largest collection of British road transport in public ownership. You’ll wander 19th Century streets and discover the first bicycles, carriages and cars and the wartime destruction in the Blitz Experience.

Herbert Art Gallery & Museum

The museum showcase the collections, from fine paintings to historical and archeological artefacts and natural history specimens.
It’s known to welcome families. Because of this it was named as the Brest Family Friendly Museum in the prestigious Guardian Family Friendly Museum award in 2010.

The Parade

The Parade is the town’s and central shopping hub with lots of shops and restaurants; from brandslike H&M and River Island to locan businesses and more. On the Parade you’ll also find the Royal Priors Shopping Centre — a relaxed shopping environment with a mix of high street stores and unique boutiques. More shops can be found elsewhere on the outskirts of Leamington Spa. Like the Leamington Shopping Park, which sports some bigger stores like TK Maxx, New Look, Next and M&S, as well as a large Saisbury’s and Aldi. The Tenpin bowling alley is just across the road from the shopping park, too!

Parks

Jephson Gardens is a beautiful Victorian park in the centre of Leamington and the place for a relaxing stroll or picnic with friends! There’s lots to be found within the Gardens, such as the Glasshouse, with a variety of interesting tropical plants, a pond and and observation beehive, a sensory garden, the Aviary Café, and sometimes outdoor summer theatre productions and band performances. You can watch more theatre productions (as well as films) just across the road, too, at the Royal Spa Centre. Newbold Comyn is another lovely place to walk and the perfect spot for sledging in the winter! On the of Leamington you can find another park, Victoria Park, which has tennis court, a skate park, and some of England’s best bowling greens.
